Fleischmann's vodka

In 1868 Charles and Maximillian Fleischmann and James Graff, a distiller founded the Fleischmann Co. to manufacture compressed yeast and distilled spirits.[1]

In 1870 - The original Fleischmann plant built at Riverside, Ohio and it produced America's first distilled dry gin was manufactured.[2]. Sylvan Grove is the Bourbon produced at this distillery.[3]

Fleischmann's vodka is an 80 proof vodka distilled from grain.

This is the first vodka in United States of America (1870), made in Fleischmann Co.

In 1940 Fleischmann acquired Daviess County Distillery of Owensboro, Kentucky and produces Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Bonded Bourbon whiskey.[4].

In 1960Fleischmann acquired the Planters Nuts and Chocolate Company for $25,000,000.[5].

In 1989 Glenmore Distillery Company acquired Fleischmann Distilling Co.[6]

In 1991 United Distillers acquires Glenmore Distillery Company.

Fleischman's is part of Barton Brands, which in turn is part of the Sazerac Company.
